Cub Pack 54 is teaming up with Imagine It Fundraising Through Recycling to turn your trash into treasures. We will be accepting several types of your discarded portable electronics and ink cartridges. You can keep your items out of the landfills while helping to support our Pack (without reaching for your checkbook ).
We will have several drop-off locations (I’ll list these later) for non-scouts, as well as collecting at Den and Pack gatherings. You can get more details including specific items accepted by downloading the brochure here, or on the downloads page, as well as visiting ImagineRecycling.com.
Following is a note from Ron Williams of the Blessing Room thanking us for participating in Scouting for Food.
As you know, we collected 205 boxes of food for the Blessing Room through our Scouting for Food drive. Please, keep in mind that the Blessing Room accepts food at any time of the year. (I have heard of some neighbors who have dropped off food since our drive after having been educated through our efforts.)
Thanks again to all who participated. The spring Scouting for Food drive will be here before we know it!!!
The RGE Live Line Demo will be this Wednesday, December 8th, at 7pm. It will take place at the RGE Operations Center at 1300 Scottsville Road. It’s a great demonstration on the dangers of line wires – a serious subject presented in a fun, interesting way that will stay in your mind.
All family members are welcome. There will be a couple of loud bangs and bright electrical arc’s, so be cautious of little ones.
Attention new Scouts! If you did not pick up the flyer containing a coupon for a free council patch with the purchase of a new shirt, you can download it here in pdf format. It also has information on Cubs in Camp. Welcome New Scouts Flyer
You can now download a digital version of the Pack 54 Parent Handbook by visiting the Downloads page or What to Expect page.
